Beginning Chi Gong $49 6 sessions starts Monday May 18 2020
Chi Gong (Chi means energy, and Gong means practice)
This is the ancient Chinese movement form that is used to self heal the body. It uses gentle movement, breath, and mind to redirect the habits of body and nervous system, and restore optimum function. It is especially good for older bodies, and we have seen incredible improvement in student's flexibility, balance and coordination.
I have been practicing and teaching Chi Gong for over 25 years, and the more that I study Chi Gong and read about the brain's neuroplasticity, the more impressed I am by the ancient method's way of rewiring habitual nervous system and muscle holding patterns. The latest information on brain plasticity and the feedback mechanisms between mind and body corroborate this method's effectiveness.
That is a mouthful! But the class is fun, can be done if you have back, shoulder or other injuries, and produces fast results that feel good. Joints feel more fluid, and the mood lifts. We typically see results in two or three classes. Come join us!
